Power problems can be attributed to a number of different factors, including extenuating circumstances like storms and nearby construction. If you're the only home in the neighborhood impacted, troubleshoot the problem using the following steps:
Are your outlets working?
If one of your outlets stops working, first try to use a different appliance in the same plug. This will allow you to rule out equipment failure.
If you have GFCI outlets, reset the outlets by pushing in the test button and then pressing the second button into place.
Is your whole home without power?
If you have no power in the property, locate the circuit breaker. If the breaker is flipped, you'll lose power. Reset it and see if your problem resolves itself.
If problems persist, call your utilities provider.
